So indeed we are waiting for this new trailer of 2 minutes and 6 seconds, but patience is the word for days, because of pictures revealed of Part 1 ! And again today with three new pictures of Deathly Hallows, really interesting ... A first pic with the trio, another with Harry, Lupin and Ginny, and finally a new photoshoot of Harry on the cover of the mag !

And the mag it's : Empire, the Septembre issue ! You'll see that we could write 5 pictures, as two never seen before pics of Ron and Hermione appears on the cover, but pics are really tiny and not really visible.

Orchestrator Conrad Pope had announced last August 14 via his Facebook, that he was working with Alexandre Desplat on completing the orchestration of the soundtrack of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1". Today we know that he recently updated his profile to give us a little more information.

He announced an exciting vigorous, music accompanied by the distinctive non-generic voice of Desplat. "Those who love the melodies, harmonies and emotions in their film scores should be pleased!"

He adds that while it reminds him of the old days as he had already worked with Alexandre Desplat on the film "The curious case of Benjamin Button" or even "The Golden Compass"

After the test-screening report of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - part 1 in Chicago, we've just learnt that the name of the actress playing young Lily Evans has just been revealed by her agency ! Her name is Ellie Darcey-Alden, she's ten and this young actress will appear in Snape's memories in part 2 !

Remember, young Lily Evans appears in Chapter 23 'The Prince's Tale". An actress cast for this role, it shows once again that the films are faithful to the book !

Three months before the worldwide release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - part 1, Warner Bros decided to show a test-screening of this first part in Chicago. Only a few persons were lucky to see the film or rather an unfinished version. Green screens were visible, special effects were not ajusted and all the musics were not all presents.

Several reports are now arriving on the net, test-screening reports which are very reassuring about the film. You can read the report of our friends of TLC right below :

" * Director David Yates, and Producers David Heyman and David Barron were in attendance at the screening.
* The current running time for this rough cut was about two and a half hours.
* Some select graphics and CGI enhancements were not fully complete in this screening. Some moments were only rendering.
* Green screens, cranes, and other movie props appeared in places.
* The film contained a temporary soundtrack; the full soundtrack is still being composed and recorded.
* A unique and innovative animation tells the story of the Deathly Hallows.
* David Barron confirmed that the final split for the film will indeed be when Lord Voldemort takes the Elder Wand from Dumbledore's grave.
* The crew has not yet finalize their choice of composer for the second part of "Deathly Hallows."
* The Seven Potter sequence features Mr. Radcliffe changing, character by character, as the camera pans around the room. He is left in the original clothes of the character, and with their voice.
* The film opens on the Minister of Magic speaking to the press, promising the wizarding public safety and protection of their liberties.
* This leads into the Dursley's leaving their home, and Harry being left in the empty Privet Drive house with Hedwig.
* Hedwig does die, returning to the chase sequence to defend Harry from Voldemort.
* The title card did not contain and "Part One" distinction.
* Both Kreacher and Dobby do make an appearance in the film.
* The Death Eater meeting is featured, an unshaven Lucius Malfoy shakes below Voldemort's gaze.
* A series of flashbacks and memories are used to tell both the select back story of the Hallows and Horcruxes. Dumbledore, Slughorn, and more were featured in this telling.
* The Death Eater chase ranges from highway action with other cars, featuring Hagrid and Harry on the motorbike doing a loop around the ceiling of a tunnel.
* Hermione is shown to obliviate her parents, and make out her way out of the house. When she casts the spell, family photos on the wall are magically wiped of Hermione's presence.
* Hermione is tortured by Bellatrix at Malfoy Manor, after they are captured by the Snatchers. Quite graphic and jarring.
* Umbridge returns. Part of the new Death Eater Ministry which takes over.
* Death Eaters crash the wedding.
* A new stone statue in the Ministry is created, wizards behind held up by a twisted jumble of muggles.
* Madam Maxine is featured at the wedding as well.
* Ron's turn against Harry and Hermione builds throughout the first half, his leaving is very dramatic.
* Ministry of Magic is turned into a propaganda factory, with posters, pamphlets, and other anti-Muggle propaganda.
* Harry and Hermione dance to Nick Cave's "The Children."
* Dobby makes a fun, funny, and heartwarming return. Humorous interaction with Kreacher.
* The Trio are found by the Death Eaters when Xeno says "Voldemort," a tabooed word.
* When Ron is destroying the Horcrux, Harry and Hermione appear as silver porcelain figures, taunting Ron. The engage in a very sensual kiss, which ignites Ron into destroying the Horcrux.
* Dementors float above the courtroom where Umbrdige interviews.
* The enchantments Hermione puts around the test when Snatchers come up to their camp.
* The memorial to the Potters does not appear when Harry and Hermione go to Godric's Hollow.
* Nagini comes from the mouth of Bagshot. The fight crashes into the children's room of the house next door.
* In the Silver Doe scene, Harry breaks his way though the ice to retrieve the sword. When he gets close, the locket around his neck chokes him and drags him under the ice.
* When Harry opens the locket, a Voldemort Horcrux tornado appears from the locket, speaking to Ron, and unleashing spiders onto the ground before Ron.
* Wormtail lives after Dobby stuns him to free Ron and Harry from the cellar of Malfoy Manor.
* The film ends with Voldemort going to a small island where Dumbledore's tomb is set; he cracks open the white marble, stares into the blank face of Dumbledore, and takes his wand."

After the confirmation of the split between the two parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Daniel Radcliffe appeared at the London Movie Con last week. The videos of the event have just been put online by Empire Online, it's the occasion for us to share with you his interview where he talks about Deathly Hallows shooting and more :

What was making this double Potter like though?
"“It was hard. Before, the producers and directors were very good at taking all the pressure on their shoulders, but this time going into it we were slightly more nervous than we were before, because we didn’t want to screw it up as the last one.

It was a long shoot, near enough 18 months, but a film set is the best place in the world as far as I’m concerned. The first part is a very weird road movie kind of thing. The first part is slower paced, but only compared to the second part. There’s more of an exploration of the relationships between the characters, that’s tested for the first times. And you’re not in Hogwarts, which gives it a very different feel from the other movies.

It’s a road movie, in a weird way, and it’s how the characters function outside those familiar surroundings. The second part starts as a heist movie and then turns into a war. It’s epic. The thing they did on the last day was to play us the trailer, and there was a collective sigh of, “Phew, it’s going to be really good”. This is the first time I’m genuinely excited to see the film. Because it was filmed over such a long period, I’ve genuinely forgotten what we shot early on."

Since then it’s been David Yates – has it helped having him all the way?
“I think whoever directed the sixth had to direct the seventh; you needed to ensure that there wouldn’t be a distraction there, of a change in style. I’m thrilled that David did them all, he’s the loveliest man, so quiet and soft-spoken, but he has an incredible vision for plots. He can see the entire film in front of him. He can come up to me when we’re doing scene 328 and reference something we did in scene 8, and I’ve got no memory for those things."

What role do you have your eye on if they remake this in 30 years?
“I don’t! But if I have to, Sirius if they do it in 30 years, and Dumbledore if they do it in 50. But Sirius is the part that everyone wants; Ian Hart had just read the third book on set of the [first] movie, and he was kicking himself that he didn’t get Sirius. But of course I was glad that went to Gary Oldman, because as you all know he's my true love.”

Not Snape ?
“I don’t think so, but only because Alan Rickman is so indelibly printed on that role for me and I can’t imagine anyone else doing it.”
